GUIDELINES WITH REGARD TO ONLINE CLASSES

Dear Parent / Student
The novel Corona virus pandemic represents an unprecedented disruption to all spheres of human life. We need to combat COVID-19 with resilience... We successfully reaffirm a strong relationship with our primary stakeholders. We have been effectively and efficiently conducting Online classes for II PUC and we plan to commence the Online classes for I PUC shortly.

  • Online classes enable academic rigour among students... It is to keep students engaged in serious academic work. Parents are requested to encourage your wards to attend the classes regularly.

  • This is a tentative arrangement during this critical time and not an alternative for classroom teaching. The mode, timings and duration of teaching may change depending on the norms of the Government /Pre University Board of Karnataka.

The timetable will be shared shortly.
STUDENTS HAVE TO BE EQUIPPED WITH STABLE INTERNET CONNECTION LIKE BROADBAND/WIFI/SUFFICIENT MOBILE DATA.

  • The college has registered with MICROSOFT TEAMS as the Online platform for the teaching-learning process... All students will be provided with a registered Microsoft Teams ID and First time Password through sms/posted in the website shortly.

  • Students are expected to strictly abide by the instructions given by the College....Violations of any kind will be viewed seriously.

  • Parents are requested not to interrupt the online sessions or hold any discussion with lecturers during online classes.

  • Kindly direct your suggestions, grievances and feedback to the Administrator/Principal through an email mountcarmelpucollege@yahoo.co.in

  • Attendance will be taken during each session... Encourage your wards to be regular to the classes.

Students kindly note
Make a note of your Login ID and First Time Password

  1. Time table will be provided.... You will be intimated to join the online classes in advance.

  2. All students are asked to mute their microphones while attending the online classes and unmute when you have some doubts / questions.

  3. In case of a doubt / query you may use 'Raise hand’ feature available on Microsoft Teams to draw the attention of the lecturer.

  4. In case you get disconnected from the online session at any point of time please go back to the login and click on the link to join the class... (Note: Your sessions are automatically recorded by Microsoft Teams and your entry and exit during the session will be traced)

  5. You are expected to attend the classes regularly and complete the assigned work on time.

  6. Your name will be visible on the screen once you join the class.

  7. SIGNING OUT OF MICROSOFT TEAMS IS MANDATORY IN YOUR DEVICES LIKE LAPTOP/MOBILE PHONE AFTER ONLINE CLASS TO AVOID THE RISK OF HACKING OR ANY OTHER CYBER RELATED ISSUES.

KINDLY COMPLETE WITH THE FOLLOWING STEPS AT THE EARLIEST

STEP: 1
Download and install MS Teams application on your device (Desktop / Laptop / Mobile) by visiting the given link https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/microsoft-365/microsoft-teams/download-app

STEP: 2
Sign in to the application using your student login credentials as provided in your Student Support in the website (Note: You will be asked to reset the given password and set a new password which you will be using for future interactions... Your new password must be of atleast one capital letter, small letter, special symbol with number (Remember this new password).

STEP: 3
After logging into MS Teams successfully, click on TEAMS tab on your left hand side and choose your respective class on the right hand side of the application.

STEP: 4
Click on the scheduled TEAMS and click JOIN (right hand top corner) then click JOIN NOW.

I PUC - Information regarding Text Books and Note Books will be shared by the respective subject lecturer during online class.
