Admission Guidelines

I PU ADMISSION 2024 - 2025

1. Look under “General Instructions to fill in application form” and do the needful.
2. Seats are allotted through walk-in interview. The cut off percentage for walk in interview will be notified on our website periodically based on availability.
3. Walk-in interview will be conducted in multiple rounds based on cutoff and seat availability (First come First serve basis).
4. The walk-in interview cut offs will change (lowered or hiked) based on seat availability.
5. CHECK THE WEBSITE PERIODICALLY, TO KNOW THE CUT-OFF AND REPORT TO THE COLLEGE.

SEATS ARE ALLOTTED ACCORDING TO THE CUT-OFF
(WALK-IN INTERVIEW) ON FIRST CUM FIRST SERVE BASIS.


The Management/Principal will not be responsible if parents/students fail to respond in time.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO FILL IN APPLICATION FORM


1. FIRST PUC Application Form will be available ONLINE in our college website (www.mcpuc.edu.in) soon after SSLC/ICSE/CBSE results (Whichever comes first).

2. Fill in the application form as per the details in the 10th marks card. After filling in the required information, submit it online (ON THE SAME DAY OF THE RESULT) with a payment of Rs. 25/- (Application Fee).

3. AN APPLICATION FORM CAN BE USED FOR ONE COMBINATION ONLY. STUDENTS APPLYING FOR MULTIPLE COMBINATIONS HAVE TO DO SO BY SUBMITTING MULTIPLE FORMS.

4. APPLICATION FORM WITHOUT RELEVANT DOCUMENTS WILL BE REJECTED. Original documents Will be verified at the time of admission. SUBMISSION OF ORIGINAL TRANSFER CERTIFICATE (TC) IS MANDATORY (ON THE DAY OF ADMISSION).

5. Students are given ONLY PROVISIONAL ADMISSION TO I PUC. Admission is confirmed only if VALID DOCUMENTS are submitted at the time of admission/whenever asked for.

NOTE: In case of any discrepancy with documents, the right to cancel the allotted seat solely resides with the Management.

If selected for admission (Walk in Interview) carry a set of all Original Documents along with 2 sets of Photocopies & Original Transfer Certificate (TC). ONLY ORIGINAL TC TO BE SUBMITTED. DO NOT SUBMIT ORIGINAL COPIES OF ANY OTHER DOCUMENTS, BUT CARRY THEM FOR VERIFICATION. *(ONLY PHOTOCOPY/XEROX COPIES TO BE SUBMITTED) *.

I. RC (ROMAN CATHOLIC) CANDIDATES
1. A copy of Marks Card (attested by the school)/Computer generated copy of 10th standard Marks Card.
2. Photocopy of Aadhar card
3. Photocopy of Hall Ticket
4. Transfer Certificate (Original TC)
5. Baptism Certificate
6. A letter from the Parish Priest (On the church letter head with signature and seal of the Parish Priest).
7. Latest photograph (Passport and stamp size) of student (not in uniform, head should not be covered, back ground should be white with light coloured modest outfit).
8. Students should have a Savings Bank account preferably in UCO Bank at Mount Carmel PU College Premises.

II. CHR (OTHER CHRISTIAN) CANDIDATES
1. A copy of Marks Card (attested by the school)/Computer generated copy of 10th standard Marks Card.
2. Photocopy of Aadhar card
3. Photocopy of Hall Ticket
4. Transfer Certificate (Original TC)
5. A letter from the church authority (On the church letterhead).
6. Latest photograph (Passport and stamp size) of student (not in uniform, head should not be covered, background should be white with light coloured modest outfit).
7. Students should have a Savings Bank account preferably in UCO Bank at Mount Carmel PU College Premises.

III. GM (GENERAL MERIT) CANDIDATES
1. A copy of Marks Card (attested by the school)/Computer generated copy of 10th standard Marks Card.
2. Photocopy of Aadhar card
3. Photocopy of Hall Ticket
4. Transfer Certificate (Original TC)
5. Latest photograph (Passport and stamp size) of student (not in uniform, head should not be covered, background should be white with light coloured modest outfit).
6. Students should have a Savings Bank account preferably in UCO Bank at Mount Carmel PU College Premises.

IV. CATEGORY 1, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B, SC, ST, HK CANDIDATES
1. A copy of Marks Card (attested by the school)/Computer generated copy of 10th standard Marks Card.
2. Photocopy of Aadhar card
3. Photocopy of Hall Ticket
4. Transfer Certificate (Original TC)
5. Valid and latest Caste Certificate & Income Certificate.
6. Latest photograph (Passport and stamp size) of student (not in uniform, head should not be covered, background should be white with light coloured modest outfit).
7. Students should have a Savings Bank account preferably in UCO Bank at Mount Carmel PU College Premises.

V. DA (DIFFERENTIALLY ABLED) CANDIDATES
1. A copy of Marks Card (attested by the school)/Computer generated copy of 10th standard Marks Card.
2. Photocopy of Aadhar card
3. Photocopy of Hall Ticket
4. Transfer Certificate (Original TC)
5. Medical Certified Documents.
6. Latest photograph (Passport and stamp size) of student (not in uniform, head should not be covered, background should be white with light coloured modest outfit).
7. Students should have a Savings Bank account preferably in UCO Bank at Mount Carmel PU College Premises.

VI. OUTSTATION/OTHER STATES CANDIDATES
1. A copy of Marks Card (attested by the school)/Computer generated copy of 10th standard Marks Card.
2. Photocopy of Aadhar card
3. Photocopy of Hall Ticket
4. Transfer Certificate (Original TC)
5. Migration Certificate.
6. Other than GM (General Merit Category), all other categories should have latest valid caste and income certificate.
7. If Roman Catholic (RC), Baptism Certificate and latest letter from the Parish Priest (On the church letter head with signature and seal of the Parish Priest).
8. Latest photograph (Passport and stamp size) of student (not in uniform, head should not be covered, background should be white with light coloured modest outfit).
9. Students should have a Savings Bank account preferably in UCO Bank at Mount Carmel PU College Premises.

VII. NRI (NON-RESIDENT INDIAN)/CANDIDATES FROM OUTSIDE INDIA
1. A copy of Marks Card (attested by the school)/Computer generated copy of 10th standard Marks Card.
2. Photocopy of Aadhar card
3. Photocopy of Hall Ticket
4. Transfer Certificate (Original TC)
5. Migration Certificate.
6. Eligibility Certificate.
7. Other than GM (General Merit Category), all other categories should have latest valid caste and income certificate.
8. If Roman Catholic (RC), Baptism Certificate and latest letter from the Parish Priest (On the church letter head with signature and seal of the Parish Priest).
9. Latest photograph (Passport and stamp size) of student (not in uniform, head should not be covered, background should be white with light coloured modest outfit).
10. Students should have a Savings Bank account preferably in UCO Bank at Mount Carmel PU College Premises.

PRINT & PRESERVE THE FORM CAREFULLY.

NOTE:
1) Kindly share accurate mobile number(s) and email ID of parent while filling the form. All admission related correspondence will be done through this Email ID/Contact No./through notification on the website. (Any one of these) BE ALERT!

2) In addition, college website and the notice board on campus will be means of sharing admission related information. The website and also the notice board on campus should be checked periodically.

3) The college will not be responsible if the student/parent fails to provide admission related information on time. The allotted seat will not be reserved.

4) No Original document should be submitted with the application form to the college during Admission. The college will not be responsible for the same.

5) All Original documents will be verified during admission and only Original TC will be taken during admission.

6) THE COLLEGE PROVIDES PROVISIONAL ADMISSION UNTIL ALL DOCUMENTS ARE THOROUGHLY VERIFIED & ORIGINAL TC IS SUBMITTED.
